French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has had a very good time in Mexico while playing for Tigres, and it looks like his tenure has drawn the eyes of some of his compatriots. It's been reported that Tigres are now interested in signing Caen striker Andy Delort to join his countryman in the attack.
From ESPNFC:
Caen's general manager Xavier Gravelaine confirmed last week that the Mexican club are interested in Delort but that no agreement had been reached on a transfer.
The former Wigan forward is seemingly keen to move on, reportedly publishing a photo on Instagram last weekend that suggested he was on his way to the airport for a trip to Mexico.
The post was soon deleted but Garande was unwilling to question Delort, who could join fellow French attacker Andre-Pierre Gignac at Tigres.
For those unfamiliar with Delort's body of work, here's a cool video.
"Tigres" is, obviously, Spanish for "Tigers." Y'all may not be aware that "Tigres" is also the French word for "Tigers." This all makes perfect sense.
