Y'all already know who won. We already told you in the headline, so here's some things from the Champions League final. But first, the highlights.
Here's Sergio Ramos's goal.

On to the things.
Thing number one: Mark Clattenburg's tongue is weird.
Or, rather, he is using his tongue weirdly.
WUT.
Thing number two: a song for Juanfran.
Juanfran missed the penalty that allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to seal it for Real Madrid, and afterward he looked like he might be scarred for life. So here's a song.
Someone go give Juanfran a hug.
Thing number three: Ronaldo kinda sucked.
He was mostly anonymous until the final penalty, but I suspect if presented with this information he would be like "whatever we won" so we're not going to make a big deal out of it.
Thing number four: we enjoyed Yannick Carrasco's coming out party immensely.
Carrasco's introduction in the second half changed the feel of the game. Atletico got on the front foot and were the better side from then on. Carrasco absolutely ate Danilo alive. Oh, and he scored the equalizer. So there's that. Had Atletico won, we would have given Carrasco the Man of the Match award but they lost so we're giving it to Sergio Ramos. This feels weird. Let's move on.
Thing number five: everyone hates Pepe.
And for good reason. Twice Pepe flopped around on the ground after an Atletico player gently bruched his cheek. And he hurt Carrasco in extra time.
even if you're a Real Madrid fan from Portugal you still hate Pepe right?

Thing number six: Atletico lost because of Carrasco's goal celebration.
The soccer Gods do not look kindly upon PDA. Sure, scoring the equalizer in the Champions League final is about as good of an excuse as you're going to get to make out in public, but you still shouldn't do it. Carrasco did it, and Atletico Madrid were punished for it. There will be plenty of time to make out with your girlfriend after the game, Carrasco.
And that's it. The season is over. On to the international tournaments.
