This year has been sensational for the slightly-not-as-good-as-Messi-and-Ronaldo group of strikers. Zlatan set Ligue 1's single-season scoring record. Luis Suarez had the best season of his career on the way to becoming La Liga's leading scorer. Harry Kane won the golden boot in the Premier League. Robert Lewandowski ripped Gernamy apart. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ripped Germany apart. Chicharito Ripped Germany apart.
One striker who isn't receiving as much attention as he should is Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. Higuain scored 36 goals in Serie A, breaking the league's 66-year-old single-season scoring record. This is the best possible way to respond to a disappointing last few years, especially in regards to the Argentina National Team.
Gonzalo Higuain is back among the very best in the world. If you don't believe me, just ask some of the defenders in this video.
Gonzalo Higuain Is Good At Soccer
In case you're too lazy to watch all 10 minutes of the above video, the part not to be missed is the goal that game Higuain the record, a stunning volley.
