The USMNT is obviously hurting along with the rest of us right now. As such, the players’ social media accounts have pretty much gone quiet since Tuesday. After the debacle in Trinidad and Tobago, Bruce Arena, Michael Bradley, Tim Howard and Omar Gonzalez all addressed the media and answered questions. Apart from them, Jozy Altidore is the only other player to have addressed the public. He released this statement on his Twitter account last night.

Expect to hear a lot more from other USMNT players as they return to their club sides and inevitably face a torrent of questions regarding the now infamous night in Couva.
