FC Dallas' social media team has apparently forgotten the number one rule of Twitter: never tweet.
If they had followed this rule, the world would not have been exposed to this monstrosity:
Good lord. The tweet was left up for a few minutes before someone noticed how terrible it was and came to their senses. FC Dallas later apologized.
We apologize for an inappropriate and insensitive message posted today. It does not reflect our values. We have addressed this internally.

Context: this tweet is referencing Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekial Elliott's six game suspension for "conduct." Six games is the baseline NFL suspension for domestic violence. Elliott's suspension stems from an accusation of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend.
In conclusion: never tweet. And especially never tweet little jokes about alleged domestic abusers.
