In a study recently published in the journal Science, scientists at Queen Mary University of London taught bees to play soccer. Yes, bees.
The study was really focused on bees' complex learning patterns and adaptability, and one of the tests involves teaching bees to roll balls into specific areas.
That ball control looks pretty tight. We should perhaps organize these bees into teams and have a league. The team names could be bee puns like "Honeysfield Town" and "Hivernian" and "Tottenham Hotstinger". There could be little bee managers and bee referees with little yellow and red cards. Little numbers painted on their wings. Beehive stadiums filled with bee fans with bee announcers saying stupid puns like "the stadium is abuzz with excitement hehehe!" That would be pretty great.
The major European leagues start up in the middle of August. Until then, y'all are stuck with bee articles.
