Mexico took care of Paraguay in their final warm-up before the CONFACAF Gold Cup, winning 2-1 behind goals from Rodolfo Pizarro and Elias Hernandez.
Pizarro opened the scoring when he pounced on a rebound and put it in the back of the net.

Mexico are the defending Gold Cup champions, but have sent a lesser team to the competition with the heavy-hitters in Russia for the Confederations Cup. That said, Mexico will still challenge for the title, but they may have to do it without striker Alan Pulido, who left the match with an arm injury.
