Messi Almost Goes Unnoticed At An NBA Game

Barely anyone noticed the best player in the world until the cameraman did.

With another international break upon us, national teams from all over the world are traveling here, there, and everywhere for various friendlies and qualifying matches. This can lead to players visiting places and experiencing cultures that they have never experienced before, often with hilarious results. Like Lionel Messi visiting an NBA game and going practically unnoticed until the cameraman puts him up on the big screen. 

Ok, Ok, so that one couple did notice him, and took one of those “Hey look who I’m standing next to but is completely ignoring me” photos that we are sure Messi doesn’t even register anymore. Props to them. And this girl did manage to take a selfie with Messi, one that he seems to have actually actively partaken in. Props to her.

But as for that one guy towards the end who just stands up in front of Mascherano, we would be willing to bet that he had no idea who Messi was. He just wanted to be on the jumbotron, too.
