Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo points and laughs at keeper who tried to play mind games before penalty

Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot on Thursday during Al Nassr’s 3-1 victory marking his first goal of 2025. The Portuguese star had some fun with his goal as video shows that Ronaldo points and laughs at goalkeeper after scoring.

With the scored tied at 1-1 near the end of the first half, Al Nassr were awarded a penalty kick with Ronaldo set to take it. As he prepared to take the kick the opposing goalkeeper tried to make himself look as big as possible to get into CR7’s head.

Ronaldo would finish comfortably and then proceeded to point and laugh at the goalkeeper before celebrating.

Paulo Vítor, the 36-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper, didn’t save the penalty, but probably has a moment in his career he won’t forget. Vítor joined Al Okhdood in the Saudi Pro League in 2023 after playing for various Portuguese clubs for seven years.

As for Ronaldo he now has 917 career goals and takes one step closer to his big goal of reaching 1,000. Ronaldo will turn 40 next month and is set to be a free agent this summer as his contract with Al Nassr expires at the end of June.

FOX Soccer had a field day posting clips of him from Thursday's game even if it was just Ronaldo arguing with the other team.

It’s still unclear what his next move will be whether he stays in Saudi Arabia, returns to Europe, comes to MLS or retires.
