Christian Pulisic’s second season in Italy is off to a flying start with goals and assists basically every game. The American is impressing off the field too as he demonstrated his Italian during an interview following AC Milan’s win vs. Club Brugge. So, how many languages does Pulisic speak?
Italian is Pulisic’s latest addition to his language collection. He obviously speaks English, knows German from his time with Borussia Dortmund and is said to have decent Spanish.
Four languages for an American player is pretty solid if you ask us.
Here’s the clip of Pulisic’s interview in Italian after the Champions League victory vs. Club Brugge.

In the past Pulisic has displayed his German speaking skills as he spent 2015 through 2019 with Borussia Dortmund.
Obviously, the guy from Hershey, Pennsylvania, speaks English. According to ESPN the USMNT star forward also knows his fair share of Spanish.
Already being familiar with one of the romance languages could’ve played a part in Pulisic picking up Italian so quickly. Being able to speak the native language can go a long way as Milan fans were impressed and proud of Pulisic’s Italian speaking.
Pulisic speaks Italian better than Fonseca now. Fonseca speaks Portaliano.

Qui si vede anche la professionalità del ragazzo ... Bravissimo e già con un buon vocabolario ... È già entrato stabilmente nei nostri cuori ... Questo è veramente un giocatore da Milan in tutti i sensi

It’s only been one-and-a-quarter seasons with Milan, but we’d say he’s well on his way to become a club legend.
