Barcelona shared new Camp Nou renderings this week as the future home ground of the Spanish giants begins to take shape. The club have been playing in the Barcelona Olympic Stadium since 2023 while renovations take place.
The new renderings come with good and bad news as the recent images are incredible, however a return date isn’t known. Originally the plan was for Barcelona to play in a partially completed Camp Nou on November 29 for the club’s 125th anniversary.
Barcelona vice-president Elena Fort said that those plans have been scrapped.
"There are no exact dates for when we can return to the stadium. We can't say right now, but we are on the right track,” Fort said.
Barcelona’s reunion with their beloved stadium now appears to be pushed back until sometime in early 2025 this season.
The stadium isn’t expected to be 100% completed until 2026. That being said, the final product will be truly spectacular and boast the largest capacity in Europe with 105,000.

Renovations include new VIP suites, bars and roof that will feature three giant screens above the field. The total cost for the renovations is estimated to be around $1.6 billion.
