Christian Pulisic looks set for another terrific season in Italy as he impressed during his first start for AC Milan in the 2024-25 preseason. AC Milan drew Barcelona 2-2 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday with the American involved in both of his side’s goals.
This was Milan’s third and final preseason game of their USA tour having already faced Manchester City and Real Madrid. Pulisic was brought on as a substitute in both of those games.
On Tuesday Pulisic got off to a flying start as he supplied an assist to Luka Jovic in the 10th minute and then netted one in the top corner five minutes later.

The 25-year-old is coming off his best club season where he tallied 15 goals and 11 assists. This summer his USMNT side had a disappointing Copa América after being eliminated in the group stage.
He did score a peach of a goal against Bolivia in the opener.

The 2024-25 season will be interesting for Milan as they have a new manager in charge. Paulo Fonseca inherits the squad last coached by Stefano Pioli.
How Fonseca uses Pulisic will be interesting to see as it’s been rumored the American could be shifted to a central attacking midfielder role. Pulisic was mostly used at right wing last season.
