Final inédita en Liga MX: Horario, historial y pronóstico del Pachuca vs. Toluca

Ni América ni Monterrey. La final del Apertura 2022 es una que nadie esperaba y que es inédita en los libros de la Liga MX: Pachuca y Toluca definirán esta semana al nuevo campeón del fútbol mexicano.

¿Cómo llegó Pachuca a la final?

El equipo de Guillermo Almada llega a su segunda final consecutiva. En el Clausura 2022 no pudieron con Atlas, pero ahora los Tuzos confían en que levantarán el séptimo título de su carrera.

Para llegar hasta aquí, Pachuca terminó cuarto en la fase regular del Apertura 2022 y en liguilla se cargó a Tigres en cuartos de final y recientemente a Rayados en las semis con un contundente 6-2.

Tan abultado resultado hace que muchos lo tengan como el gran favorito para obtener la corona. 

¿Cómo llegó Toluca a la final?

Los Diablos hicieron el camino largo, repechaje incluido.

En la misión de obtener su undécima estrella – la primera desde el Bicentenario 2010 –, los choriceros terminaron sextos en la fase regular, lo que los obligó a jugar una repesca ante el FC Juárez.

Los Bravos no fueron mucho obstáculo (3-0) y en cuartos de final despacharon a Santos Laguna con un global de 6-4. Con un rendimiento al alza, en semifinales Toluca dio la gran sorpresa del campeonato al eliminar al América, el gran favorito al título.

Tuzos y Diablos nunca se enfrentaron en una final de la Liga MX, de ahí lo inédito del enfrentamiento en esta instancia.

Para dar tiempo extra de preparación a México de cara al Mundial de Catar, ambos partidos se disputarán esta semana. Pachuca tendrá la ventaja de definir de local en la revancha, ya que terminó en mejor posición durante la fase regular del torneo.
