It’s the age old question we’ve always wanted an answer to: yes, Bayern Munich are a great side, but can they do it on a freezing cold night the federal subject of Russia known as Yaroslavl Oblast? No is the definitive answer — FC Hollywood is soft, and now they're in crisis.

Rostov, known more as a tourist destination along the shores of Lake Nero than as a footballing power, registered a shocking 3-2 win over Bayern Munich. The loss condemned Bayern to their second straight defeat, the first time that’s happened since 2015, and you’d have to go as far back as November 1st for the Bavarians last victory, an incredible span of time given the German giants domination of domestic and European football over the last five years.
However, Munich now find themselves in the depths of a crisis with manager Carlo Ancelotti desperate to figure out a method to ensure they never lose again.
They trail RB Leipzig by three points in the Bundesliga, with Dortmund on their heels, and they’ve now given the top spot in their Champions League group to Atletico Madrid, who only need to defeat PSV Eindhoven later today to clinch first.
Christian Noboa’s 66th minute free kick separated the sides, the Russian club celebrating a historic victory and moving closer to a third-place finish and Europa League entry.
