Tigres Es El Segundo Mejor Equipo Femenil De La Concacaf Y Está En El Top 20 A Nivel Mundial

Pese a haber cedido el trono de la Liga MX a Monterrey, Tigres se mantiene como el mejor equipo mexicano femenil en el ránking de la Federación Internacional de Historia y Estadística del Fútbol, IFFHS.

La lista considera el rendimiento de los equipos en ligas locales e internacionales y en este caso consideró el período entre el 1 de abril de 2021 y el 31 de marzo de 2022 para la medición.

De acuerdo a los parámetros establecidos, las felinas se ubican en el puesto número 20 con 234 puntos, siendo además el segundo mejor equipo de la Concacaf. En la región, a las Amazonas solo las supera el Portland Thorns de la NWSL estadounidense, que se sitúa en el lugar 11 con 314 puntos.

Dentro de los 100 mejores equipos hay otros seis equipos de la Liga MX que vale mencionar: Monterrey (31), Chivas (48), Atlas (61), América (64), Pachuca (87) y Tijuana (92).

A nivel global, el dominio es europeo con el Barcelona como dueño absoluto del número 1, con 854 puntos.

Si bien la Liga Iberdrola aún no termina, las catalanas ya aseguraron el título con un registro que hasta ahora anota 26 triunfos, cero empates y cero derrotas, con 144 goles a favor y apenas ocho en contra. Como si no fuera poco, también son candidatas a ganar la Champions League.

El podio lo cierran el PSG (538) y el Olympique de Lyon (476), ambos de Francia, mientras que el Corinthians de Brasil – cuarto con 460 puntos – es el único no europeo en el Top 10.
