Norwich City got its second point of the Premier League season with a scoreless draw against Brighton on Saturday. A brutal Josh Sargent miss vs. Brighton in the first half will have the Canaries wishing they got all three points.

Sargent had two of the best opportunities of the game as Brighton and Norwich shared the points. In the second half a poor touch from the American saw a one-on-one chance squandered.
While Norwich searches for its first win, Sargent is still looking for his first Premier League goal.
The young American striker is having a rough stretch after being left off the last USMNT World Cup qualifying roster and not scoring in seven Premier League appearances. After only coming on as a substitute in Norwich’s first three league games, Sargent has started the last four. His only goals in a Canary kit came in the EFL Cup against Bournemouth.
The goals simply haven’t been coming for Norwich. The Premier League basement dwellers have as many points as goal after eight games: two.
Norwich and Sargent’s road doesn’t get any easier as their next game will be a trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea on Oct. 23.
