Putting the “Carlitos” back in Carlos Teves, The18 takes you back to the wonderful year of 1998, when a 14 year-old-Carlos Tevez was running amok in the world of youth soccer, destroying those less fortunate and less skillful.
Watch in amazement as a younger-looking-but-has-the-same-mug-of-a-face Carlos Tevez scores goal after goal for his youth team: Boca Juniors.
It’s odd seeing Tevez, such a bulldog of a player now, dance around the competition like he often does in this video. He’s nutmeg players left and right, and he throws in the occasional dribble around the keeper just for good measure.
We aren’t even sure whether or not we should feel bad for the kids being out-classed in these videos. It is more than likely that some of them still remember being on the receiving end of these goals, and take pride in having done so.
Who wouldn’t want to talk about the time that they played against Carlos Tevez? There’s got to be a free drink in there somewhere.
