I'm thinking of all the things I could do with $10,000. Buy a new (used) car. Make a big dent in my student loans. Actually have spending money.
What I'm trying to say is this: If I were given the choice between meeting Neymar and receiving $10,000, I'm taking the money and not thinking twice about it.
But I am not Rhiannon Conelley. Conelley, a 16-year-old high school goalie from El Paso, Texas, won a contest sponsored by Brazilian soft drink Guarana Antarctica that asked people to submit photos of themselves with the drink. Conelley's winning entry featured her juggling a soccer ball while holding the drink and wearing a Brazil jersey.
When given the choice between prizes of $10,000 or meeting Neymar, the choice was easy. She got a trip to Spain for her, her mom and her personal coach, plus she gets to see Barcelona and meet Neymar. So she made out pretty well.
I'd still have the ten grand though. What would you choose?
