Dutch goalie Mark Flekken is really into hydration. How else do you explain perhaps the worst goalkeeping error we’ve ever seen here at The18? 

Flekken, who plays for MSV Duisburg in the Bundesliga 2, was caught in his own net grabbing a water bottle while FC Ingolstadt scored an equalizer. A teammate attempted to head the ball back to him to pick up, but Flekken was nowhere to be found.

Here’s some action from today in the Egyptian Premier League. Al-Ittihad Alexandria and ENPPI Club played to a 1-1 draw, but the lasting memory will definitely be 26-year-old Egyptian midfielder Khaled El Ghandour’s bicycle kick from 18 yards out for Alexandria. 

It would’ve been the game-winner had a 90th minute equalizer from ENPPI’s Mahmoud Kaoud not stolen El Ghandour’s thunder. Still, what an outrageous strike from the midfielder.

Vinicius Jr., who will arrive at Real Madrid eventually, scored an incredible goal for Flamengo in a 3-1 win against Botafogo Saturday. Vinicius then celebrated by pretending to cry.

It turns out there is some history behind that celebration.

In 2008, some Botafogo players began crying in a press conference held to protest refereeing decisions. They have been mocked for that ever since.
