Tobin Heath’s Swerving Banger Sparks Man United’s 2-Goal Comeback Against Man City

The Manchester Derby finally got the American flair we’ve all been waiting for. It was worth the wait.

Tobin Heath’s marvelous strike in the 54th minute sparked a two-goal rally as Manchester United fought back for a 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Saturday at Leigh Sports Village in Manchester.

Rapinoe Spoke About Her Dad Being A Trump Supporter On The Daily Show

Few have been as outspoken against the 45th president of the United States as Megan Rapinoe. Asked if she’d go to the White House if the USWNT won the 2019 World Cup, she responded: “I’m not going to the fucking White House.”

On Thursday, the 2019 Ballon d’Or winner spoke about having a dad who actually supported the man who lost the 2020 presidential election.

Heath, Press Were The Intriguing Final Two Picks Of Racing Louisville’s Expansion Draft

Racing Louisville FC grabbed two U.S. Women's World Cup champions in the National Women's Soccer League expansion draft Thursday, selecting midfielder Tobin Heath and forward Christen Press with their final two picks.

The Louisville squad is set to become the NWSL's 10th team when it kicks off play in 2021.

The rights to Heath were selected from the Portland Thorns, and the rights to Press were obtained from the Utah Royals. However, it is unclear when or if either of the stars might play for Racing Louisville.

Valencia’s Flor Bonsegundo Has Scored The Coldest Goal Imaginable

This is not a kind goal from Valencia’s Flor Bonsegundo.

As a 27-year-old Argentine, the obvious inclination is to say this is Lionel Messi-esque. But truthfully this is maybe more Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, except Ronaldo always used his remarkable pace to round the keeper — he rarely finished with a delicate chip like this.

So really all you can say is this is a Flor Bonsegundo goal.

We’ve never seen a player dice someone to the floor, play a pass to themselves through two defenders and then finish in this manner. QUÉ HACE

NBCSN Is Actually Airing Two Massive Derbies In England This Weekend

It’s unfortunate, but NBC has pretty much decided to stop broadcasting most Premier League matches on TV, instead hiding all but a small handful behind the paywall of Peacock Premium. Fortunately, NBC is actually broadcasting some of the biggest matches in England this weekend including the Manchester Derby.

The18’s Guide For Matches To Watch During This International Break

Let's face it: International breaks can be difficult to follow. With the Premier League, you know there will be four matches each on Saturday and Sunday, two on Monday and maybe the occasional midweek fixture. The international break though? Chaos.

Some teams are playing friendlies, others in the UEFA Nations League, some are competing in World Cup qualifying, while others are still in the European Championship playoffs. And to top it off, you still have lower-level club fixtures being played. It's a lot.

Kelley O’Hara, Ali Krieger Were Mic’d Up For USWNT Training (And It Was A Joy To Watch)

It’s been way too long since we last saw USWNT players in action. The last time the four-time World Cup champs took the pitch was at the SheBelieves Cup in March, and the world has changed a bit since then. So it was great to see most of the USWNT back together for a late-October training camp in Colorado — and it was even better to hear Kelley O’Hara and Ali Krieger mic’d up for practice.

Megan Rapinoe Criticizes Clubs Like Man United For Taking So Long To Embrace The Women’s Game

World Cup-winning U.S. midfielder Megan Rapinoe has denounced the lack of investment in women's soccer around the world, saying it is "disgraceful" that a club like Manchester United had taken so long to revive their team.

United faced criticism for not forming a team after their women's side was scrapped in 2005 and were granted a licence to play in the second tier Championship in 2018.

Alex Morgan (Finally) Makes Her Tottenham Debut

It seems like we’ve been waiting forever for this moment, but it finally came Saturday. No, I don’t mean the U.S. presidential election was called; I mean the Alex Morgan Tottenham debut.

Alex Morgan came on as a sub in the 69th minute in Tottenham’s Women’s Super League match with Reading on Saturday. It was the American’s first appearance on the pitch in more than a year after she gave birth to her first child in May

Unlikely Soccer Events That Will Totally Happen By The Time Nevada Finishes Counting Votes

If you haven’t been paying attention to the U.S. election results you either don’t care about the election, live under a rock or are a vote counter in Nevada. How a state that is 99 percent desert is taking so damn long to count votes is beyond anyone. On the bright side the memes have been an endless, beautiful flowing river.
