Megan Rapinoe To Harder & Eriksson: ‘Because You’re Both Beautiful, You’re Not Gay Looking, It Does Break Barriers’

Pernille Harder and Magdalena Eriksson are icons in the women’s soccer world, not just for their accomplishments on the pitch but for the way they’re openly gay in a world that isn’t always accepting of LGBTQ+ people. But even they have heroes, and this week they spoke with one of their role models, USWNT star Megan Rapinoe.

What Does Dos A Cero Mean? Explaining The USMNT-Mexico Rivalry With One Score

The first time I heard it, I wasn’t quite sure what I was hearing. I attended the first USMNT-Mexico game after the 2002 World Cup meeting, a friendly in Houston, and kept hearing fans yelling “dos a cero.” I knew enough Spanish to translate the phrase, but I had no idea of the Dos a Cero meaning and history, let alone what it would turn into.

Little did I know back in 2003, but Dos a Cero would come to define the American perspective of the USA-Mexico men’s soccer rivalry for nearly two decades.

Carli Lloyd Needs To Follow Tom Brady And Unretire So She Stops Shit-Talking Her Former Teammates

This week, Tom Brady decided to end his one-month retirement and return to the NFL. Carli Lloyd should do the same, just so she finds something else to put her energy into besides sticking her foot in her mouth.

Carli Lloyd ended an illustrious career last fall, hanging up her cleats after winning two Women’s World Cups, two Olympic gold medals and FIFA World Player of the Year in 2015. She retired as the second-most capped USWNT player and in the top five in goals and assists in USWNT history.

Pese Al Empeño, Un Error De Celeste Espino Condenó Al Tri Femenil Ante Estados Unidos

Charles Barkley Shits On USMNT On Live TV, But He Praised The USWNT

Charles Barkley wants to make it clear: This U.S. soccer jersey he’s never going to wear (or fit into) is a women’s jersey. He’d never be caught dead with a USMNT jersey.

Maybe Chuck needs to catch up on his country’s soccer teams.

U.S. Soccer Sells TV Rights To Turner Sports, HBO In 8-Year Deal

It’s hard to remember a time when ESPN and Fox didn’t dominate the U.S. soccer TV landscape. The two have aired every World Cup since 1994 and have been the consistent home for U.S. women’s and men’s national team games over the last decade. That era is ending, though worry not, it won’t change too much.
