On Wednesday it was reported that Christian Pulisic will have the honor of donning the No. 10 jersey for Chelsea next season. Pulisic will trade in his No. 22 jersey and fill the shirt of Willian, who joined Arsenal earlier this summer. Ironically enough, Willian wore the No. 22 for six seasons until he was honored with the iconic number in his final season.

Atlanta United technical director Carlos Bocanegra was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

The former U.S. Men's National Team captain is the lone member of the Class of 2020 and will be enshrined in 2021.

CONCACAF and FIFA provided an update on the 2022 World Cup qualifying process with an announcement that the First Round is being pushed back to March 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.

In 2019, Concacaf held the largest-ever Gold Cup, with 16 teams creating an event that was actually pretty exciting. For the 2021 Gold Cup format, Concacaf is doubling down on the 16-team field but adding some weird new spice to the tournament — and for some reason an odd choice for its first guest participant in over a decade.

Jordan Morris scored twice 61 seconds apart early in the second half as the host Seattle Sounders pulled away to defeat Los Angeles Football Club 3-1 Sunday night.

After a long run of injuries stretching back several seasons, the USMNT forward has gotten consistent playing time in Sweden over the last couple of months and has reaped the benefits. Since the beginning of the 2014-15 season, Jóhannsson has missed over 100 games due to injury. Since late July, though, he has featured in every game for seventh-place Hammarby and scored four goals in the club's last six games. 

Weston McKennie, a 22-year-old midfielder from Little Elm, Texas, has become the first American to join Juventus, completing a loan deal from Schalke with a club option to make the move permanent. Juventus announced the deal on Saturday, confirming earlier reports after McKennie had flown to Turin for a medical.

USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie can breathe a sigh of relief knowing he won’t have to help carry the burning carcass of Schalke for another Bundesliga season. The once-juggernaut German club could be fearing relegation next season. This is no worry to McKennie as news broke on Wednesday that he will reportedly be playing with Juventus.
