After USMNT Clinches World Cup Berth, Here's What We Need To Advance In Qatar

The USMNT is back in the World Cup after great performances against Mexico and Panama earned the nation automatic qualification to Qatar. Not much more can be said about Wednesday night's loss in Costa Rica because at this point, all the United States does is lose in Costa Rica, even if the plan to lay the qualifying ghosts to rest with a historic win actually resulted in a worse margin of defeat than in Trinidad.

USMNT Qualifies For World Cup For First Time In 3,123 Days — Here’s How Different The World Looked

The United States men’s national team punched its ticket for 2022 World Cup in Qatar — with a rather disappointing 2-0 loss to Costa Rica — on Wednesday for the first time since 2013. Just under a decade has passed since the last time USA qualified for World Cup.

Let’s Be Honest, Gregg Berhalter Played World Cup Qualifying Almost Perfectly

Since he was hired in 2018, a large section of USMNT supporters have criticized every possible move made by Gregg Berhalter. Whether it was roster selections, tactical decisions or the way he likes to wear nice shoes, some fans always found something wrong with the coach.

New USWNT Roster Last Chance For Players To Earn Spot In World Cup Qualifying

If you just look at the opponent, the USWNT’s April friendlies against Uzbekistan are likely to be fairly drab. Matches against the 48th-ranked team in the world in Ohio and Philadelphia, on the face of it, don’t really kindle much enthusiasm. But the April USWNT roster makes it clear: This is the final chance for some young players to earn a spot on the team at World Cup and Olympic qualifying this summer in Mexico.

It features 91 semi-pro and professional American soccer teams from four divisions and seven leagues, plus a further 12 amateur clubs — good for a total of 103 entrants.

When Ashlyn Harris Tried To Defend Her Wife On Twitter, Trinity Rodman Clapped Back To Defend Her Team

Social media is often a horrible place, I think we can all agree. But sometimes it gives us wonderful moments of schadenfreude, moments when we can step back from an argument and be oh so happy we’re not involved. There was one such popcorn-grabbing moment this weekend when Ashlyn Harris and Trinity Rodman got into a Twitter feud after their respective clubs played on Friday.
