Paris Saint-Germain has raised over 200,000 euros ($221,320.00) for local healthcare professionals battling the coronavirus outbreak with the release of a limited edition jersey, the Ligue 1 champions have said.

The shirt is a replica of PSG's current home strip but has the words "Tous Unis" (All Together) where the main sponsor logo usually sits and features badges pledging support to doctors.

The club confirmed on Twitter it had sold out a batch of 1,500 shirts via its online store on Thursday night, with all the proceeds going to Assistance Publique Hopitaux de Paris.

PARIS — Paris St Germain players climbed up a Parc des Princes stand overlooking the street where thousands of fans waited for them after they qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals in an empty stadium amid coronavirus fears on Wednesday.

The French champions beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 to secure a 3-2 aggregative victory and erase memories of embarrassing last-16 exits against Barcelona and Manchester United in 2017 and 2019.

Neymar spent most of the first nine minutes of a crucial Champions League second leg against Borussia Dortmund on the floor. In a way, it was the best evidence of how much the match meant to him.

Cavani was already PSG’s all-time leading scorer (Zlatan Ibrahimović is second with 156), but it’s a special milestone for the 33-year-old as his seventh season in Paris figures to be his last.    

Giovanni Reyna made quite the first impression in his Champions League debut.
