A Fourth Division German Side Offered Zlatan A Kingship To Sign With Them

Rot-Weiss Oberhausen, a team in Germany's fourth division, have made free agent striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic an offer, should his ego be large enough, he can't refuse.

From the BBC:

The striker, 34, is considering offers after leaving Paris St-Germain but few will be as creative as what Rot-Weiss Oberhausen have put forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Will Donate His €600,000 Bonus To Charity

Cristiano Ronaldo by almost all accounts is a great guy off the field. He is accused of being arrogant and petulant when he plays, and consequently is viewed as a bad example, or even a bad person, when in the real world he has a charitable streak to him.

Cristiano came out in 2014 saying that he does not have any tattoos because he donates blood “very often,” and tattoos can prevent regular donations.

Ronaldinho Is Going Be In A Kickboxing Movie With Mike Tyson

Ronaldinho is going to be a movie star. An action movie star. In a movie. With Mike Tyson in it. Apologies for the sentence fragments so far, but my brain has exploded. It's the best I can do, given the circumstances.

The circumstances, for those interested are that 'Dinho is going to be in a movie called Kickboxer: Retaliation alongside Mike Tyson, the dude who played "The Mountain" on Game of Thrones and Alain Moussi.

It Was A Friendly, But That Didn’t Stop This Defender From Almost Killing Someone.

England took on Portugal today in an internatinoal friendly. The match was really more of a tune-up game for the imminent Euro 2016 tournament than anything else, and so both sides were looking to learn more about their players, try out some new things, and generally just finish off the day better than they started it.

Except for Bruno Alves. Bruno Alves almost killed Harry Kane.

Javier Hernandez's Brilliant Header Puts Chile To The Sword

Javier Hernandez celebrated his birthday in fine style on Wednesday, netting the winning goal for Mexico against Chile in their final warm-up game before the Copa America Centenario.

With the scores level at 0-0, Hernandez, who turned 28 on the day, entered the match in the 78th minute. It took him all of eight minutes to snatch the victory for El Tri, his powerful header giving Chile’s goalkeeper, Cristopher Toselli, absolutely no chance.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: The Master Of Puppets

Dare to Zlatan. Is there anyone more mercurial, more intense , or more of an egomaniac than Zlatan Ibrahimovic? His posturing and his infamous Zlatanisms flirt with satire so much, it's not even clear how serious he actually is. Zlatan is so quoteable that journalists around the globe froth at the mouth to get a flashy one-liner from the outspoken Swede, something which he derives great enjoyment from.

Neymar Tried To Play Baseball. He Was Not Good At It

Neymar went to a Mets game for some reason. During his visit to Citi field the Brazil National Team captain decided to try his luck in the batting cages. It went about as well as you'd expect from a person who makes his living with his feet and not his hands.

Tijuana Had Such A Bad Season They Transfer-Listed Their Entire Team

Miguel Herrera's tenure at Club Tijuana has not gone to plan so far, but as usual "El Piojo" has found a way to capture our attention.

Club Tijuana finished 14th in the 2016 Clausura, and that, evidently, was not good enough for management. You hear of clubs needing offseason "overhauls" but we've never seen it taken quite this far: Tijuana have transfer-listed every single player on the roster.

Here's the full release on Club Tijuana's website:

The Copa America Begins In Two Days. Will The USA Survive Group Play?

The United States kicks off the Copa America Centenario on Friday against the world’s fourth ranked team, Colombia. For Jurgen Klinsmann and the US, the match is similar to their World Cup opener against Ghana two years ago. In a difficult group containing Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay, the USA needs a positive result if they are to harbor any hope of advancing to the quarterfinals.
