Carlos Vela Equalizes After Genius Level Movement From Chicharito
A lethal counterattack from Mexico started with a Guillermo Ochoa throw and ended with Carlos Vela cutting in from the right before firing a shot inside Brad Guzan’s near post. In between, there was a lot of understated brilliance from Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
Chicharito controlled Ochao’s throw inside Mexico’s own half and immediately drove at the American defense. With Kellyn Acosta looking to close him down, Chicharito delivered a devastating nutmeg before playing it wide to Vela.

Cristiano Ronaldo Makes It 18 Goals In 11 Games For Club And Country With Brace For Portugal
Portugal defeated Latvia 3-0 in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a brace for the reigning European champions. 21-year-old Porto striker Andre Silva, whose name will become synonymous with transfer speculation this summer, added Portugal’s third with Ronaldo laying on the assist.
Ronaldo’s brace made it a staggering 18 goals in his last 11 matches for club and country. For the season, it’s 53 goals in 51 games. Those kinds of numbers stopped making sense a long time ago.
Landon Donovan Will Reportedly Be One Of FOX's Lead Announcers At Russia 2018
In 2011 FOX bid more than $400 million to secure the US rights for the 2018 and 2022 Men’s World Cup (as well as the Women’s 2015 and 2019 World Cups). [Note: Telemundo also bid over $600 million for rights for those tournaments as well.] Now just over a year away from the kick-off, FOX appears to have chosen their three-man announcer booth to headline the network’s World Cup coverage.

Manchester United Have Released Zlatan
The good news is this move makes Manchester United once again much easier to hate. That's right, Zlatan is gone, banished from Manchester United after 42 appearances, 28 goals and one horrible knee injury.
Obviously Zlatan is going to come back. He is Zlatan, after all. The question is where, and that is a question for another day. Today, we must wrap our heads around the fact that we actually kind of liked Manchester United for a bit there, when they had Zlatan and Pogba doing Zlatan things and Pogba things.
Jimmy Kimmel Shut Down Hollywood Boulevard So Neymar Could Kick A Soccer Ball
So it took Neymar three tries to score, big deal. He was like 60 yards away from the goal and I'm not entirely sure about the wind situation in Los Angeles that day.
You know you've made it as an athlete when someone shuts down a major street so you can try to do a mostly pointless sports thing for talk show entertainment purposes. Neymar is definitely working his way up that most famous athletes list.
