Fantasy Premier League Tips Week 28

Hello folks - it was a sad weekend sans PL action, but we got some good match ups this week and the always important Carabao cup final between Arsenal and Man City! Hopefully you have two transfers to use so here are some lads that can probably sing the anthem better than Fergie:

3 Fantasy Club Gentlemen

Marc Albrighton (Leicester City):

Leicester welcome Stoke City and the league’s worst defense to the King Power Stadium on Saturday morning, making goals a certainty for the Foxes.

These Two World-Class David De Gea Saves Prove He’s Really All You Need

Back in 2003, NHL goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the Stanley Cup playoffs. He was unreal, but the following offseason, with Giguere’s infamously large gear the inspiration, the NHL implemented pad restrictions and a $25K fine for teams found guilty of ignoring the rule. In essence, Giguere could no longer resemble the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.

Watching David de Gea tend the net is like watching Giguere in the days of yore. He’s obviously cheating.

Prodigal Son Robin van Persie Scores A Spectacular Goal For Feyenoord

Robin van Persie grew up in Rotterdam, where 15-time Dutch champions Feyenoord are something like a religion. Van Persie joined the club’s youth system as a 16-year-old after spending his formative years with Feyenoord satellite club Excelsior. He made his debut at 17 and spent three seasons with the first team before his transfer to Arsenal.

We know your FPL squad has some players on the hot seat, so here are 3 transfers you could make to replace them:

3 Mans To Transfer For

Gerard Deulofeu (Watford):

37-Year-Old Dimitar Berbatov Effortlessly Laces An 18-Yard Half-Volley

We haven’t heard from Dimitar Berbatov in a while, but that’s probably because he’s at the age where all of his footballing contemporaries have now retired. After last appearing for Greek club PAOK in 2016, the Bulgarian was out of football for a year before signing a one-year deal with Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters last August.

Zlatan Makes Curious Suggestion On Instagram

Zlatan Ibrahimovic endeared himself to Manchester United fans during the 2016-17 season, scoring 28 goals in 46 appearances. As the season ended and Zlatan’s contract with the Red Devils neared its conclusion, an entrepreneurial United fan took it upon himself to re-sign the Swedish striker, offering up his wife in exchange for Ibrahimovic’s signature.
