There’s a lot to like about this match-winning goal for Coventry City in their 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra on Saturday. Some nice pressure administered high up the pitch from Coventry’s Jodi Jones sees Zoumana Bakayogo’s attempted clearance blocked, and that triggers a fantastic, flowing move for the Sky Blues.

What a one-two with the corner flag. Jones hardly even needs to break stride after that delicious layoff from the inanimate object. The cutback with the outside of his right foot is brilliant as well, and it finds Duckens Nazon!

Michelin, a club in Belgium’s First Division, secured a point on Saturday after scoring in the 92nd minute to salvage a 2-2 draw with Royal Excel Mouscron. The goal was scored by defender Elias Cobbaut, but it was all down to the extended work of goalkeeper Colin Coosemans. 

The 25-year-old shot-stopper came up on a Michelin corner as his side went in search of an equalizer and found himself on the ball near the edge of the box. A clever step-over and turn almost skinned a defender alive, but Coosemans was unable to use his pace to get around his marker. 

Mesut Ozil is one of the most serene players in world football, able to glide past defenders and place inch-perfect passes while still looking like he gives zero f*cks about being on the pitch. A new video from Hypebeast has shown a bit more what he’s like off the pitch, and while he still doesn’t appear to be giving any f*cks, he sure does have a boatload of shoes — and one cute pup.

Languishing near the bottom of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table, heading into the break at 1-1 with S.C. Braga would’ve represented an exceptional 45 minutes of football for C.D. Tondela on Sunday. However, just on the stroke of halftime, Braga struck the crossbar before Tondela defender Ricardo Costa smashed the rebound into his own net.
