Boy Gets Mo Salah’s Attention By Running Into Lamp Post, Breaking Nose And Knocking Self Out

This past weekend, a photo emerged on Twitter of a bloodied young Liverpool supporter standing next to star attacker Mohamed Salah. That child is 11-year-old Reds supporter Louis Fowler, who’d spotted Salah leaving Liverpool’s Melwood training ground in his car and attempted to keep pace with the vehicle while waving at the Egyptian.

Unfortunately for Louis, in his heightened state of distraction he ran directly into a lamp post, knocking himself out and breaking his nose in the process.

Chelsea Fans Bombard David Luiz's Restaurant With Negative Reviews After Move To Arsenal

Arsenal has had a much more eventful transfer window than fans anticipated. Initially given a transfer budget of just $54 million, it seemed as though the Gunners would continue their tradition of promising fans a lot but offering them very little in terms of actual signings.

Mesut Özil Destroys Tottenham Fan On Twitter

The Arsenal-Tottenham rivalry is among the fiercest in Europe, so if you go at someone from the other side, expect some retaliation.

Fans In Asia Attempt To Get Close To Ronaldo With Wildly Differing Results

Imagine, for a second, that your entire being is driven by a primal urge to enter into Cristiano Ronaldo’s proximity. Try as you might, you cannot shake the feeling that your existence absolutely, positively must be acknowledged by Ronaldo, and so your feet lead you on a happy dance that constantly pulls you ever closer to the 34-year-old's orbit; damn the consequences.

This is the plight currently facing some individuals in Singapore and China, who’ve risked it all to smell the CR7 eau de toilette from its source.

Video Captures Insane Reaction To Memo Ochoa’s Penalty Save In Houston Last Night

Mexico’s quest for its eighth Gold Cup — and first since 2015 — almost came to an abrupt end in Houston last night in front of over 70,000 at NRG Stadium. Raúl Jiménez had given El Tri a first half lead, only for Costa Rica to respond in the second half via a converted Bryan Ruiz penalty.

That would be the only scoring on the night, so the match would be decided on penalties. The shootout started as a nightmare for Mexico after Jiménez had his shot saved while Celso Borges converted for Costa Rica.

USWNT Getting Heat For Scoring Goals And Celebrating Joyfully At A World Cup

The USWNT defeated Thailand 13-0 on Tuesday, making actual analysis of the game about as meaningful as discussing who won the big fight between the ice cube and the Sun. So we quickly moved on to one of the great, redundant bits of virtue signaling in sports — the argument over “running up the score.”
