Chelsea had a real shit sandwich of a first half. Down three goals within 30 minutes, many Blues fans — especially those who just tuned in to watch Christian Pulisic — probably turned off their TVs.

They missed one helluva comeback.

Chelsea rallied with three second-half goals — including the final one in the 93rd minute — to salvage a 3-3 draw with West Brom on Saturday, a wild comeback that shows how much fight is in this young team. Even without Pulisic. Even in god-awful uniforms.

Alex Morgan didn’t get on the field in her first match at Tottenham. The USWNT striker was an unused substitute as Spurs lost to North London rival Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the FA Women’s Cup. West Ham United assistant coach Alan Irvine has confirmed boss David Moyes will still be in charge for Sunday's Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but from home as he is still self-isolating.

Moyes and players Issa Diop and Josh Cullen, had to leave the London Stadium ahead of their League Cup tie against Hull City on Tuesday after they returned positive tests for COVID-19.

Irvine, who took charge against Hull and secured a 5-1 victory, said Moyes will be remotely available to make all the decisions during the match this weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur have advanced to the League Cup fourth round via a bye after their match against Leyton Orient was called off due to a number of Orient players testing positive for COVID-19, the Football League (EFL) said on Friday.

Spurs' third-round match against Orient was cancelled on Tuesday, a day after the fourth-tier club revealed the positive tests and closed their Breyer Group Stadium and training ground facilities until further notice.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho said he had to demand Europa League opponents Shkendija fix the goalposts ahead of their tie on Thursday after his keepers alerted him to the fact they were too small.

Spurs goalkeepers Hugo Lloris and Joe Hart noticed the dimensions were wrong and told Mourinho, who took the matter up with UEFA's delegate at the match.

After the game Mourinho posted a picture of himself on Instagram nearly touching the crossbar.
