Chicharito Responds To Transfer Rumors With Vital West Ham Goal

On as a 64th minute substitute for West Ham in their Premier League match against Bournemouth on Saturday, Mexico international Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez scored the equalizer for the Hammers in a 1-1 draw at London Stadium.

Chicharito Is Really Bad At This Challenge

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez is good at a lot of things. Chicharito can score with his feet, his head and, most impressively, his face for both club (West Ham) and country (Mexico). Hammers teammate Pablo Zabaleta is also a pretty good football player, having played right back for Manchester City and the Argentine national team for many years. But neither are very good at the game they played Friday: a Don’t-Laugh Challenge.

David Moyes' Arrival At West Ham Could Be Terrible News For Chicharito

Just when you thought Chicharito would have more chances to play, David Moyes is appointed West Ham manager.

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean bad news at first glance (even though many West Ham fans are reportedly pissed that Moyes was named boss).

However, if you take a look at recent history, you’ll see Moyes’ arrival to the London club could potentially spell a great deal of frustration for Javier Hernández.

17-year-old Mexican Diego Lainez Could Be More Expensive Than Chicharito And Christian Pulisic

In recent days a (wild) rumor has spread saying Club América’s jewel, 17-year-old Diego Lainez, could be sold for the staggering amount of $35-41.8 million in 2018. TV Azteca reporter Omar Zerón recently tweeted that several European teams are looking to sign the young player in order to develop him and turn the left-footed Mexican into a star.

West Ham Leaves Chicharito Alone Up Front, Like The New Kid On The First Day Of School

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez walked away from his West Ham regular season debut goalless, creating a few scattered opportunities but, on the whole, looking isolated up front as Andre Ayew and Marko Arnautović dropped into deep positions early.

Slaven Bilic acknowledged as much in post-match commentary, conceding that West Ham's initial 4-3-3 formation left Chicharito on his own.
