Transferencias Mas Caras

1. Neymar - 17/18 - PSG - $261.5 M

2. Phillip Coutinho -  17/18 – FC Barcelona - $170.8 m

3. Kylian Mbappé – 18/19 – PSG - $159 m

Despite High-Profile Positives, UEFA Claims Its Testing Makes Environment Among Safest In World

BERN — UEFA has overseen 61,859 COVID-19 tests since August, allowing more than 500 European matches to be played and making soccer one of the safest environments in the world, it said on Thursday.

The European soccer body, which has been criticised by some media for pressing ahead with international football during the pandemic, said that only 340 of those tests had been positive — 0.55 percent of the total — and only 3 percent of matches had been canceled.

Marc-André Ter Stegen Was Barça’s Man Of The Match At Home Vs. Dynamo Kyiv

It’s not at all what you want to see when you turn on the TV to watch Barcelona play at the Camp Nou, but Wednesday’s Champions League match against Dynamo Kyiv transformed into a goalkeepers’ duel between the returning Marc-André ter Stegen (six saves) and 18-year-old Ruslan Neshcheret (11 saves).

With Lionel Messi still unable to score from open play and Antoine Griezmann unable to score by any definition of the word, Barcelona’s 2-1 victory was narrowly achieved but ultimately retains the club’s 100 percent record in Group G.

Watch Rennes Defender Have Worst Day Imaginable Conceding Two Penalties And Getting Sent Off In One Half

Chelsea picked up a vital three points in the Champions League with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday courtesy of Rennes defender Dalbert living his worst nightmare despite Halloween being four days ago.

The Brazilian left back will be in desperate need of extra emotional support and could definitely use a hug after playing the worst 40 minutes of his career. Dalbert’s nightmare on Stamford Street began in the 10th minute when he tripped up Timo Werner in the penalty area. The Rennes defender was shown a yellow card and could only watch as the German striker buried the penalty kick.

Weston McKennie’s Devilish Dummy Helps His Two Most Selfish Teammates

Weston McKennie, the 22-year-old Texan, has a lot of egos to deal with while on loan at Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo obviously looms large in any locker room, but you know folks like Álvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala, Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and Juan Cuadrado want to see their share of the ball. Remarkably, McKennie aided two of the largest personalities on the squad without even touching the ball. And yes, we’re calling it a Weston McKennie assist, because America god damnit.

Man United Concedes One Of The Worst Goals In UCL History During Defeat To Başakşehir

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw playing the roles of marauding fullbacks, Axel Tuanzebe the false center back, Bruno Fernandes the floating No. 10, Donny van de Beek the floating No. 8 and Juan Mata and Nemanja Matić the taxidermied zebras, Manchester United produced the sort of display that makes you wonder why Mauricio Pochettino is still out of a job on Wednesday.

Inter’s Knack For Crushing Disappointment Hands Real Madrid A Lifeline

Although somewhat premature seeing as it was only Matchday 3 in the Champions League, Real Madrid and Inter Milan at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano was billed as a must-win game for both clubs on Tuesday.

The match didn’t disappoint with Real taking a two-goal lead through Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos before Lautaro Martínez and Ivan Perišić leveled for Inter. In the 80th minute, substitutes Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo combined to hand Real a much-needed first win in group play.

RB Salzburg Doesn’t Back Down To Anyone And Makes For Some Damn Good Entertainment

I would be willing to bet my life’s savings that Red Bull Salzburg won’t win this season’s Champions League. I’d go as far as to wager a dollar to every person that reads this that Jesse Marsch’s side won’t advance to the Round of 16. Please contact me with your Venmo information if Salzburg surprises me.

The frank reality is that Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich possess far superior weaponry in every position. The most commonly seen strategy to try to beat Europe’s goliaths for the Davids of the continent is to park the bus and pray for a counterattack.

Diogo Jota's Champions League Hat Trick Ends All Doubt About His Transfer To Liverpool

I think I speak for many other Liverpool fans when I say I was skeptical when the club signed Diogo Jota. Nearly $50 million for a player who scored just seven league goals last season? Especially with the attacking depth the Reds have? Mo Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino starting. Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino, Xherdan Shaqiri, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita off the bench. Liverpool only has three senior center backs, and Klopp is going off and overpaying on a somewhat promising attacker? It didn't make much sense at the time.
