Coutinho Ruins Chelsea

Philipe Coutinho scores two beauties as he leads Liverpool to a 3-1 victory over struggling Chelsea.

It has been a disappointing start to the season so far for the lads from Stamford Bridge. Things at the Cobham training Centre aren't going to get easier after Liverpool and Philipe Coutinho beat Chelsea 3-1 this past weekend. After opening the scoring in the fourth minute, it looked like a rejuvenated Chelsea squad would be able to handle the new look Reds. Philipe Countinho's two goals for Liverpool were vintage Coutinho, as he showed his range with his left and right foot.

The first goal began with Liverpool holding possession before the little magician received the ball at the edge of the box. A quick turn with his left foot got him past a Chelsea defender and then he let it rip and Mourinho's reaction told the rest of the story. We're accustomed to seeing Coutinho execute those types of goals with his right foot, but this time the Brazilian showed his versatility. His celebration was also on point now that his girlfriend is pregnant.

The second goal was almost the exact same as the first but with his right foot. The little magician cut back bringing the ball to his right foot this time and he buried a beautifully placed ball in the top right corner. His accuracy was on point at the Bridge, and it was Chelsea's downfall among other things. Calls for Mourinho's sacking have only grown louder as the manager lost his sixth match in 11 EPL appearances. Liverpool on the other hand got their second victory in the league since Klopp joined 5 matches ago.
