Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie don’t play around. The American duo is quickly becoming the most ruthless and brutal midfield pair in the Premier League. The latest Leeds Everton fight during Saturday’s EPL meeting was another example of this.
Moments before halftime Adams and Luke Ayling did well to dispossess Dwight McNeil near the corner flag. While Adams was dribbling away McNeil put in a hard foul on the American.
After that the sparks flew and the two American midfielders would bully McNeil into the ad boards. He then had to cower in fear with a steward holding him.
If you mess around with Leeds’ American midfielders, then you’re in for a bad time.

This is why we at The18 refer to the two as the Premier League Bad Boys.

Four yellow cards were handed out with Adams, McKennie, McNeil and Abdoulaye Doucouré all going into the book. I will give you my two reactions to what happened.
Unbiased opinion of Leeds Everton fight
This was a little boneheaded all around by both sets of players. McNeil had no reason to foul Adams that hard and the American’s response got himself in trouble. McKennie came in to protect his teammate which is fine, but now he gets himself a card too.
Now both midfielders who are known for winning back possession and putting in hard tackles must play the second half extra careful.

LET’S GOOOOOO! THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MESS WITH AMERICA! MESS AROUND AND FIND OUT MCNEIL YOU COWARD. HOW DO THOSE AD BOARDS FEEL?
