Cesc Fàbregas’ contract at AS Monaco is up and he although there’s practically nothing left for him to win, the Spaniard is still hungry for more, even if that means playing in the second-tier.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 2010 World Champion will sign for Como, a team in the Italian Serie B.

The midfielder will sign a two-year contract with the club and will be his first time playing in a second division.
No longer in FIFA?
The Serie B will not be available to play in FIFA 23. Consequently, this will also be the first time we don’t see Fàbregas in FIFA since 2006.

Generational midfielder
Cesc is perhaps one of the best midfielders of his generation. The Spaniard has played for historic clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and Monaco, playing 722 games, scoring 125 goals and providing 213 assists.
A midfield maestro.
Fàbregas is the Premier League’s second all-time assist leader with 111 assists in 350 games (Arsenal and Chelsea).
The legendary midfielder won titles basically everywhere he went, highlighting his career with being a vital part in Spain's golden generation where they won three consecutive international tournaments.
While playing for the national team, the central midfielder had a total of 51 goal contributions in 111 games. Though, his most important contribution was when he assisted Andrés Iniesta in none other than the World Cup final to seal the first win in the country’s history.
In conclusion, Cesc Fàbregas could decide to play anywhere in the world and his legacy will remain the same.
