The18.com's Giselle Cesín talks about the week's action in Liga MX. Right now, soccer is on hold due to the devastating earthquake that struck Mexico.
Although reports of major damage to Estadio Azteca during the earthquake that hit Mexico City proved to be false, it is going to take a lot of time and effort to recover from the devastating event.
Mexico internationals Chicharito Hernandez and Miguel Layun have set up a fund for people to donate, which will spread donations around to the most impactful organizations helping victims of the earthquake. The fund has raised more than $300,000 so far, toward a goal of $500,000.
We'll get back to the Liga MX party next time, but until then, if there's anything you can spare, there are a lot of people in Mexico City in serious need right now.
