Angered Fan Drives SUV Onto Field Trying To Run Over Referees

It was chaos during a third-division match in South Africa when a maniac jumped in his car and drove onto the pitch in an effort to run over the referee. The fan tried to run over the referee and then drove toward one of the benches as the players scattered. Miraculously, no one was hurt during the madness.

South African Team Attempts To Waste Final 10 Minutes By Rotating Everyone Through Corner Kick Duty

With only 10 matches remaining in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League, the title race is being hotly contested between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. Kaizer Chiefs currently holds a four-point lead at the top of the division, and Sundowns obviously can’t allow that gap to grow any larger.

Last Wednesday, Sundowns went to extreme lengths of shithousery to ensure that didn’t happen when hosting Bloemfontein Celtic at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Player Throws Spare Ball For Greatest Tactical Foul We’ve Ever Seen

It’s a tactic that’s frequently implemented during elementary school recess, but its application at the professional level is far less pronounced: After a quick throw-in during a match in Romania between Makedonija Gjorce Petrov and Akademija Pandev, a defender chased after play with a spare ball in his hands before throwing it at the feet of the attacking player and knocking the live ball away.

Women’s Footballer Bashes Dislocated Kneecap Back Into Place, Plays On Like A Boss

Sadly, there still exists a population of humans who dismiss women’s football as being lesser than the men’s game. For all those numskulls in that camp, let us present Jane O’Toole.

The captain of St. Mirren WFC showed more toughness in a single Scottish Women’s Championship Cup than most men’s footballers will show in an entire season on Sunday against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

VAR In Premier League: No Red; 20 Minutes Later: Sorry, It Was A Red After All

In just about every major sport in the world, video replay has been installed with little fuss. Sure, it takes a little longer than some would prefer, but with video replay it’s generally accepted the correct calls are made.

Except soccer in England.

Get Rich And Die Trying — Sevilla Vice-Captain Leaves For Big Payday In Wuhan

Given the recent outbreak of the coronavirus in Wuhan and across China, how much money would it take to get you to move to the epicenter of a pandemic that has infected 74,576 with 2,118 deaths?

For Sevilla vice-captain Daniel Carriço, that price was apparently met.

Carriço left the club he’s called home for seven years to join Wuhan Zall on a $2.16 million transfer on Thursday.

Tired Of Watching His Opponent Fake Injury, Ryan Babel Starts Rolling Around Too

After the tragedy of losing to Tottenham in last season’s Champions League semifinals was compounded by a heartbreaking exit during this year’s group stage, Ajax’s European odyssey has appropriately descended into comedy after being parachuted into the Europa League Round of 32.

Maradona Caught On Camera Receiving Suspicious Baggy During Match

Argentine legend Diego Maradona is fondly remembered for his amazing goals and off-the-wall personality. Sadly, Maradona’s legacy also includes a notorious history of drug use, and while managing his struggling club Gimnasia in a recent Primera División match, Maradona was handed a suspicious small bag.

The coaching staff was then quick to block the view of the camera.

Moussa Marega Rightfully Tells Racist Vitoria Fans To Have Sex With Themselves

On Sunday night, following the racist abuse he suffered during Porto's 2-1 victory over Vitoria, Porto forward Moussa Marega took to social media and responded to the Vitoria fans who forced him to walk off the pitch in protest in the 72nd minute.

Marega wrote: “I would just like to tell these idiots who come to the stadium to make racist chants …. go fuck yourself. And I also thank the referees for not defending me and for giving me a yellow card because I defend my skin colour. I hope I never meet you on a football field again! YOU ARE A SHAME!!!!”

Tigres Goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán Attempts To Punt A Man Instead Of The Ball

I’ve never played goalkeeper before, but I can imagine it’s pretty damn infuriating when an opponent stands directly between you and your distribution. I’m not trying to excuse the behavior of Tigres keeper Nahuel Guzmán — who absolutely lost it in those exact circumstances and attempted to punt a man — but I also can’t suppress a chuckle while he blatantly attempts to drive his knee up Eduardo Aguirre’s sphincter.
