The Worst Flop Of All-Time

Embarrassed? Ashamed? Those are two things that Leeds United midfielder Adryan might be feeling after he sees footage from the club's match against Derby County this past weekend.

The Brazilian, who is on loan from Flamengo to Leeds United, took a light foul on the foot and took acting to a whole new level. The midfielder who has been compared to Kaka proceeded to act like he was receiving electroshock therapy before he flailed himself from the ground into the air like a dolphin to really, really let the referee know he was fouled.

What A Hit Son! The Best Soccer Commentaries Of All Time.

Martin Tyler, Gary Neville, Ian Darke, Andy Gray, Jon Champion, Ray Hudson. Those are just a few of the world's great soccer commentators. Sure, all of these names belong to English personalities, but there are talented commentators all around the world able to capture - and often enhance - great moments with their words. When tensions are running high and we’re on the edge of our seats, these men act as our tour guides through the ups and downs of a football match.

Epic Goalie Pass Results In A Goal In 5 Seconds

The Manuel Neuers and Thibaut Courtoises of the world would be impressed by this goalie assist that hails from the Persian League. Nat Tehran and Tractor Sazi faced off in a match which saw goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand launched a pass from his own 18 yard line to 20 yards past the halfway line.

The throw itself is worthy of a mention despite what happened after it, but forward Gholamreza Rezaei went on to beat two defenders and, on his first touch, blasted a 30-yard shot past the goalkeeper.

It took 5 seconds in all for Nat Tehran to score the goal.

Who Is A Faster Juggler? Messi Or Neymar?

Watching Neymar and Lionel Messi play keepy-uppy is equivalent to watching an NBA lay up line. Juggling is as easy as riding a bike for them. But, which of these superstars is faster?

At an Audi event, the two Barcelona stars were each given a ball and had 60 seconds to touch the ball as many times as they could to recharge it with energy. And, as a result, we now know once and for all who the faster juggler is between Messi and Neymar:

In This Video, David Moyes Repeatedly Bungles The Names Of His New Players

David Moyes is back. And he doesn’t know the name of his players at Real Sociedad. We don’t really blame him, as the former Manchester United manager has moved to a new country, in a new league, with a new language. So, it is understandable and maybe even acceptable that Moyes is struggling.

But your own players' names? In the video below Moyes called Real Sociedad midfielder Esteban Granero, ‘Stefano’ repeatedly. Later on in the video, Moyes turns to the bench to double check the name of another player. It may be time for La Real to put names on the back of their jerseys.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Named His Dream Team, And He Is On It

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was asked to name the elite XI of players he's played with. Starting up front? Zlatan himself, of course.

The Emerald City Supporters: The Best Supporters In The U.S.

This Sunday, the Seattle Sounders will continue their quest to become the first MLS team ever to win the U.S. Open Cup, the Supporters Shield and the MLS Cup. With the first two already in their pockets, the Sounders must overcome a 0-1 aggregate deficit at home to earn the triple, which shouldn’t be too tall an order, especially with the support of their home fans: The Emerald City Supporters.

3 Reasons To Give Thanks For Soccer

Thanksgiving is here, and that means the holiday season is upon us. Here at The18, we understand that not all of our readers reside in the United States, and, accordingly, probably do not care about Thanksgiving - but that is no reason for us to pass the buck on spreading holiday cheer, or, as is more likely the case, awkward, strained, family reunion mojo. ’Tis the season.

Queretaro Player Receives A Red Card…And Then Punches Opponent

This past weekend, Mexican side Queretaro lost to Chiapas 2 to 1. Normally that would be the headline, but it seems a certain Queretaro player wanted to overshadow the result of the match. No, not Ronaldinho.

Quarter midfielder Willian was sent off, but merely saying that Willian was sent off would be like describing a freeway pile-up as little more than “a coming together.” Just watch.

Lionel Messi Is Now The All-Time Leading Scorer In Champions League History

Cristiano Ronaldo may be the odds-on favorite to win the Ballon d’Or, but Lionel Messi is not going out without a fight.

Messi scored hat-trick and added a scoring record to the annals of his personal achievement, and he has made a habit of doing both of those things recently. Just over the weekend, Messi scored another hat-trick and broke a different scoring record. Then it was La Liga’s scoring record, now it is the Champion’s League’s all-time scoring record.

In fact, every time that Lionel Messi has broken a scoring record, he has done it while scoring a hat-trick.
