Kealia Watt Is Having A Baby With J.J. — We’re Winning The World Cup In 24-25 Years

Americans often wonder: What if our best athletes played soccer? Well, that already happens on the women’s side, where we’ve won four World Cup titles thanks in large part to a head start provided by Title IX. On the men’s side? The nation’s best athletes still usually play American football, basketball or baseball. 

Hopefully that changes in the coming years, and hopefully it includes Kealia and J.J. Watt’s new baby. The couple announced they’re expecting their first child in October on Thursday.

Early NWSL leaders San Diego Wave travelled to Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday to play OL Reign with all eyes on two of this season's most impressive attacking talents. For the expansion Wave, Alex Morgan has fueled the quick success with a league-leading six goals. For the Reign, Rose Lavelle entered with the most shots, 18, across the NWSL.

The Reign defense, anchored by the center half pairing of Alana Cook and Sam Hiatt, did an excellent job marshaling Morgan and the Wave's attack. At the other end, San Diego had no answer for Rose Lavelle's threat off the left-hand side.

American stars Catarina Macario and Lindsey Horan became the fourth and fifth USWNT players to win the UEFA Champions League as Lyon defeated the seemingly unstoppable Barcelona 3-1 on Saturday in Turin.

Catarina Macario made history on Saturday when she became the first American to score in a UEFA Champions League final. Macario and her club Lyon faced Spanish powerhouse and defending champions Barcelona in Turin, Italy, and had a sensational first half.

With Lyon leading 2-0, Macario netted the third goal in the 33rd minute with a poacher’s finish at the far post. Lyon went on to win 3-1.

U.S soccer men's and women's national team players will receive equal pay and prize money, including at World Cups, after they came together to agree on landmark collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) with the U.S Soccer Federation on Wednesday.

U.S. Soccer becomes the first federation in the world to equalize FIFA World Cup prize money awarded to both women's and men's teams for participation in their respective World Cups.
