Looks like Gregg Berhalter wasn’t the only problem, folks.

The U.S. men’s national team suffered a 2-1 loss against Canada on Saturday, becoming the only defeat against the Maples on U.S. soil since 1957. They did so with American manager, Jesse Marsch, leading Canada on the bench.

The United States men’s national team lost to Canada on home soil for the first time in 67 years as the Canucks secured a 2-1 friendly win in front of a sparse crowd at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday.

Incoming U.S. head coach Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t on the sidelines for the loss as USMNT U-20 head coach Mikey Varas oversaw the game.

The USMNT were also without the likes of Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Gio Reyna, Antonee Robinson, Timothy Weah and Sergiño Dest.
