Football's Most Surreal Love Triangle Just Reached Soap Opera Level

The twisted tale of love and deceit between Argentine footballers Mauro Icardi and Maxi Lopez took another soap opera-style twist on Sunday when their respective club sides met in an Italian Serie A match.

Icardi, 23, is the striker for Inter Milan while Lopez, 32, plays the same role for Torino. The bad blood between the two came to a head following Lopez’s messy divorce with 29-year-old Argentine media personality Wanda Nara in 2013.

Messi Gave Egypt A Gift On Live TV, And Insulted The Entire Country In The Process

It’s not every day that a gift can manage to piss off an entire country, but it seems that Messi’s gift to the host of the Egyptian television show “Yes I am Famous” has done just that.

Messi donated a pair of football boots to the show in the name of Charity. He did so on live TV by handing them over to host Mona al-Sharqawi. Pretty straight forward, right?

Wrong.

At One Of England’s Classiest Events, This Footballer Pissed In A Glass

If you ever forget that professional footballers are really just boys with a lot of money, remember this article. MK Dons midfielder Samir Carruthers was just banned from entering the Cheltenham Festival because he was pictured pissing into a pint glass.

This Referee Is The Calmest, Scariest Person In The World

If you're going to attack a referee, make sure he isn't a terrifying badass first.

Otherwise, you might end up like this dude in the Italian ninth division, who picked the wrong referee to mess with.

The ref's rection reminded us of this scene in the movie Wild Wild West, starring Will Smith. He became that much scarier and tougher by not reacting.
