Wherever He Ends Up, James Rodríguez Will Be Taking A Massive Pay Cut

Despite having not scored more than 10 league goals in a season since 2014-15 (his first with Real Madrid), Colombian attacker James Rodriguez remains one of the game’s most recognizable and beloved footballers. The 28-year-old’s playmaking ability is world class (he dropped 13 assists during his first season on loan at Bayern Munich), and although he’s been deemed surplus to requirements by Zinedine Zidane, the likes of Atlético and Napoli are desperate to sign the 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner.

The 25-year-old just completed his first season with the Blues, and with plenty of unforeseen circumstances ahead, Kovačić had to be brought back.

Reports have surfaced that Neymar has made it clear he wants to go back to Barcelona and that he never should have left in the first place.

This comes less than a day after Messi told the team he would prefer the return of Neymar over the potential addition of French star Antoine Griezmann.

Did Ronaldo Curse Manchester United's No. 7?

Ten years ago today, Real Madrid shook the world by signing Cristiano Ronaldo for an at-the-time astronomical €94 million ($132 million). While it was a hefty investment, Ronaldo has proven to be a bargain, leading Los Blancos to 15 pieces of silverware over his nine years at the club.

Insane Goal From Near Midfield Helps Real Madrid Oust Barcelona From Copa Del Rey Juvenil

Scoring on your rival? Awesome.

Scoring on your rival in a knockout tournament? Awesomer.

Scoring on your rival with a goal from midfield? Awesomest.

Antonio Blanco ripped a shot from 45 yards in a 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Saturday, advancing Real Madrid 3-1 on aggregate into the Copa del Rey Juvenil semifinals.

Blanco’s equalizing goal came with the match in the balance. Barcelona attempted to cross midfield only for the Madrid player to steal the ball, take one touch and blast a long-range effort over the Barça keeper.
