Just in time for Ted Lasso Season 3 — here's how you can get the new AFC Richmond jersey

Oh! What a coincidence! The same day Ted Lasso Season 3 premieres on Apple TV Plus, the new jersey of AFC Richmond is hitting the stores.

Talk about timing.

And while I cannot tell you much about the show's first episode — because I haven't seen it and I have to wait for my wife to avoid a TV-cheating scene (editor's note: we have an episode review here) — I can talk to you about the shirt and how you can get it.

Ted Lasso S3E1 review: Lots of poop jokes but premiere doesn't stink

The final season of Ted Lasso kicked off Wednesday with "Smells Like Mean Spirit" — a premiere centered around how AFC Richmond are being picked to finish last in the new Premier League season.

I would pick them to finish 20th too. It's the same squad that got relegated, they haven't made any transfers, Nate's gone and Ted's commitment to the entire thing is wavering. But no one's cared this much about preseason rankings since Josh Wolff laminated the MLS predictions and used it as straight gasoline for Austin FC's fire.

5 burning questions ahead of the Ted Lasso Season 3 premiere

The Ted Lasso Season 3 return date of Wednesday, March 15 on Apple TV Plus is upon us, and I've got five burning questions before watching the premiere. There are obviously spoilers below, so quickly binge Season 2 (like I did this past weekend) if you haven't already.

Otherwise, here are my thoughts before the final season of Ted Lasso.

5 questions for Ted Lasso Season 3

#1. What is a fitting end to Ted Lasso's journey?

Women's World Cup fever builds with Disney+ documentary on Australia's Matildas coming soon

With just over 130 days to go until the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the hype within the host nations has already reached fever pitch. Australia's Matildas open play on July 20 against Ireland with a crowd of over 80,000 expected in Sydney.

The excitement around the event has only been amplified by the team's recent performances on the pitch, where Australia's riding a seven-game win streak that's included triumphs over Sweden, Spain and Denmark.

Jason Sudeikis talks Ted Lasso series finale and possible spinoffs

Back in August of 2013, NBC Sports got American viewers fired up for the 2013-14 Premier League season with a surreal piece of absurdist humor that landed well: Jason Sudeikis as the manager of Tottenham Hotspur in the "An American Coach in London" ad.

It's still entirely unbelievable that 10 years later that character has spawned a comedy-drama TV series thats first season received 20 nominations at the 73rd Emmy Awards before its second season earned 20 nominations at the 74th Emmy Awards.

Watch the trailer for Apple's epic docuseries on Real Madrid's run to the UCL title

After earning rave reviews for its presentation of Major League Soccer on opening weekend, Apple TV is wasting no time in hooking more fútbol fans to its product with the release of a trailer (narrated by David Beckham) and release date for a new documentary, Real Madrid: Until The End.

Netflix has two soccer shows inspired by ‘Drive to Survive’ on the way

Netflix has been killing it already this year with a collection of celebrated sports shows that take you behind-the-scenes to a degree that few other projects have ever been able to. Much of that stems from the success of Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which has given birth to an entire generation of American F1 fans as the docuseries releases its fifth season.

Sheffield Utd's Billy Sharp is now the central villain of Welcome to Wrexham Season 2

Wrexham's Cinderella journey through the FA Cup ended cruelly Tuesday with a missed penalty and goals conceded in the 94th and 96th minutes to Sheffield United. But the bigger story was Sheffield United captain Billy Sharp becoming the first person to openly admit a genuine dislike for Wrexham and its FX television series.

5 American coaches who could carry on the revolution at Major Leeds Soccer

Damn, and just like that it's over. After Sunday's defeat to Nottingham Forest left Leeds above the relegation zone on goal difference, the club announced the end of manager Jesse Marsch on Monday. The American is survived by his three sons, Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson and Weston McKennie.

Weston McKennie hits you with the Killing Curse in Leeds announcement video

Leeds United have signed United States midfielder Weston McKennie on loan until the end of the season from Juventus, the Premier League club said on Monday.

The 24-year-old has made nearly 100 appearances for the Serie A team since joining in 2020, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists. He has won the 2020 Italian Super Cup and 2021 Coppa Italia with Juve.
