That is why different can catch us off guard, or make us feel uncomfortable, because different is strange. Managerial positions in the game of soccer are incredibly unstable, often thankless jobs. If you are a manager, one moment you are held as a prophet sent by the gods of soccer to guide your team along a path of victory, and the next those same fans are paying for billboards that call for your head - or at the very least your resignation. 

Carlos Vela just won La Liga’s Player of the Month Award for the month of November . Under normal circumstances, the award would be all well and good, and we would have no problem celebrating the night away with Vela and his legion of admirers.
