Portugal will benefit from the wealth of experience veteran Cristiano Ronaldo brings to their squad, manager Roberto Martinez said ahead of this month's European Championship in Germany.

Ronaldo, the leading scorer in men's international football with 128 goals in 204 official matches, will be playing in his sixth Euros, having reached the final in his tournament debut in 2004 and winning the competition in 2016.

Fans have been dying to know when will USWNT Olympic roster be announced. New head coach Emma Hayes might’ve slipped the date it will come out.

A total of 18 players will make the cut for the plane to Paris for the 2024 Olympics. The roster is expected to be announced in June and Hayes hinted that it could be June 16.

New United States women’s national team head coach Emma Hayes is officially stateside and will coach her first game on June 1. In the meantime, an Emma Hayes Today interview took place on Thursday as she provided more insight on her plans for the team.

NBC’s Today crew sat down for a five-minute interview with Hayes where she provided her background with Chelsea, gave her thoughts on the USWNT’s waning world dominance and hinted at who will be on the roster for the Olympics.

LONDON — Mauricio Pochettino has left his job as Chelsea manager by mutual consent, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday, ending the Argentine's reign at the club after one season despite a late revival in their fortunes.

Pochettino joined Chelsea ahead of the 2023-24 campaign when he replaced interim manager Frank Lampard as the club's new owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital looked to freshen things up after a 12th-placed finish the previous season.

The first Emma Hayes USWNT roster was revealed on Tuesday ahead of two June friendlies vs. South Korea. Hayes gave the nod to veterans like Alex Morgan, gave two players their first USWNT call ups and had an interesting change of position for Crystal Dunn.

This USWNT roster is the final one before the 18-player squad for the Olympics will be made. A total of 23 players are on the team for the games against South Korea.

Portugal's 39-year-old forward Cristiano Ronaldo will play in his sixth European Championship and veteran defender Pepe also made the cut as coach Roberto Martinez named his 26-man squad on Tuesday.

Ronaldo, who has scored in every Euro since his first appearance in 2004, has netted 14 goals in the tournament. He also scored 10 times in European qualifying matches last year.

Liverpool announces Arne Slot as new manager

Liverpool have announced that manager Arne Slot from Feyenoord as their new manager, set to replace the legendary Jürgen Klopp next season.

Slot, who has been at the helm of the Eredivisie club since 2021, led Feyenoord to the league title in the 2022/23 season and the KNVB Cup this year. Additionally, the manager led Feyenoord to their first-ever Europa Conference League final in his debut season.
