Zinedine Zidane To Leave Real Madrid At End Of Season

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has told his players he will leave the LaLiga club at the end of the season, Spanish media reported late on Saturday.

Radio station Onda Cero said Zidane informed the players about his decision before last weekend's 2-2 LaLiga draw at home with Sevilla where Real missed the chance to top the table.

Newspaper Marca said he addressed the team on May 8, a day before that game.

A Puro Sufrimiento: Atlético Sobrevive A La Real Sociedad Y Acaricia El Título

Atlético Madrid Is Two Wins Away From LaLiga Title

It’s still happening. It looked entirely impossible after a 12-game stretch between February and April that yielded only five wins, but Atlético Madrid has bravely said damn the statistics, damn the xG, damn Florentino Pérez and let Barcelona damn itself

Messi’s World-Class Volley Precedes Monumental Barça Collapse Against Levante

Barcelona threw away a 2-0 lead, a 3-2 lead and the chance to go momentarily top of LaLiga with a ridiculous 3-3 draw against Levante at the Ciutat de València on Tuesday night.

The match kicked off at 10:00 p.m. local time and quickly entered the magical realm that all “after dark” sporting events inhabit. After Pedri wasted a couple good opportunities with poor shooting, Lionel Messi showed the 18-year-old how it’s done in the 26th minute with a world-class side volley.

Luis Suárez’s Shithousery Against Barcelona Was A Joy To Watch

Another remarkable weekend in LaLiga saw Atlético Madrid regain title control with three matches remaining despite drawing 0-0 with Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.

Ivan Rakitić Haunts Real Madrid To Hand LaLiga Control Back To Atlético

Handed the opportunity to return to the LaLiga summit for the first time since the conclusion of Matchday 4, Real Madrid stumbled to a 2-2 draw at home against Sevilla to hand control back to Atlético with only three games remaining.

Sergio Ramos Has Probably Played His Final Game For Real Madrid

On Saturday, Real Madrid issued a medical report on captain Sergio Ramos after the center back missed training ahead of Sunday’s key LaLiga clash against Sevilla. According to the club, Ramos is suffering from tendinitis in his left hamstring and won’t be available against his former team.

Real Madrid Takes LaLiga Control After Messi And Suárez Fire Blanks

Barcelona and Atlético handed LaLiga control to Real Madrid after an entertaining scoreless draw at the Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon. Spain’s two highest scoring teams had their chances, but Jan Oblak produced seven saves — including a miracle on Lionel Messi — and Marc-André ter Stegen had six of his own, including three on Luis Suárez.
