Arsenal rally from 2-goal deficit in Women's Champions League semifinal

WOLFSBURG, Germany - Two-time European champions VfL Wolfsburg let a two-goal lead slip against Arsenal as the visitors fought back to earn a 2-2 draw in Sunday's Women's Champions League semifinal first leg.

Ewa Pajor and Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir gave the home side a 2-0 lead inside the first half hour but Arsenal reduced the deficit through Rafaelle Souza on the stroke of halftime before Stina Blackstenius leveled in the second period.

Newcastle humiliate Spurs with 5 goals in opening 21 minutes

St James' Park was reveling in a glorious attacking display with the atmosphere inside the ground turning into a carnival — every completed pass was greeted with an "olé" while the crowd bellowed "shoot" at goalkeeper Nick Pope whenever he took possession.

We still had 60 minutes to play.

Stop hurting Brenden! Ream and Robinson both foul Aaronson as Fulham win EPL Super Bowl

Fulham defeated Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday in the highly anticipated USMNT showdown between the duos of Weston McKennie and Brenden Aaronson vs. Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson.

The American quartet sat down for a humorous interview ahead of Saturday’s game with the four players laughing and joking around.

For Saturday's 90 minutes the love was lost as the two duos fought for three points at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal score in 88th and 90th minutes to avoid disastrous defeat to Southampton

LONDON — Arsenal struck two late goals to rescue a point in a pulsating 3-3 home draw with bottom club Southampton but their Premier League title hopes suffered another blow on a night of frazzled nerves in north London on Friday.

The Gunners trailed by two goals inside 15 minutes with Carlos Alcaraz and former Arsenal forward Theo Walcott silencing the Emirates crowd.

Aaronson shares the time he ditched McKennie on the golf course in humorous interview

The Brenden Aaronson Weston McKennie golf story was the funniest highlight of a 17-minute interview that Men in Blazers did with the Leeds duo and Fulham’s American pair of Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson.

Leeds United and Fulham are America’s favorite Premier League teams as both have multiple U.S. players on the roster. This Saturday the two clubs face off, brutally early at 7:30 a.m. ET, and fans got to see a four-player interview with the Americans.

During the interview Aaronson was asked if he’d ever seen McKennie lost for words. Then came the golf story.

Harry Maguire and David de Gea compete for LVP award as United crash out of Europa League

Manchester United lost to Sevilla 3-0 in the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinals on Thursday to crash out of the tournament with a 5-2 aggregate defeat. Harry Maguire and David de Gea both made horrendous errors that led to Sevilla goals during the game.

The least valuable player award (LVP) isn’t an official title given out, but nobody told Maguire and de Gea that. The two United players looked determined to win that prestigious award.

Erling Haaland proves he’s human after smashing a penalty over the bar into the stands

Erling Haaland AKA the Norwegian goal-machine stunned fans during Manchester City’s 1-1 draw vs. Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Haaland did what no one thought was possible and he missed a penalty kick.

City entered the second leg of the UCL quarterfinal with a comfortable 3-0 aggregate lead. Haaland had the opportunity to extend the lead to four goals in the 37th minute at the penalty spot after a handball was called on Dayot Upamecano.

Pulisic gets 0 minutes in Chelsea's 4-0 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid

For the 11th time in 13 seasons (mercy me), Real Madrid are through to the Champions League semifinals after Rodrygo's second-half brace at Stamford Bridge put the finishing touches on a commanding 4-0 aggregate victory over Chelsea.

As a 2022-23 Major Leeds Soccer fan, I've never been more embarrassed

I've been watching Leeds United like a Marcelo Bielsa assistant stationed in a bush for over eight months now. And to everyone out in West Yorkshire who's been watching since closer to the club's foundation in 1919, I just want to apologize: I'm sorry we gave you the total American soccer experience of not being very good at this game.

Like the American in An American Werewolf in London, I feel like my spiritual presence here in England has only left a trail of destruction, blood and tears.

Lampard comes to Boehly's defense after American owner's ‘embarrassing’ dressing-room speech

Chelsea are not a "broken" team this season and co-owner Todd Boehly had every right to address the squad he has invested in, manager Frank Lampard said on Monday ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid.

Chelsea, who trail Real Madrid 2-0 on aggregate after losing the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu, come into the game on the back of a six-match winless run, with interim boss Lampard losing his first three games in charge.
