Mewis, Dahlkemper, Lavelle And City Headed For UWCL Exit After Comprehensive Barça Win

For the third season in a row, it looks like Manchester City’s journey in the Women’s Champions League will reach its end at the hands of Spanish opposition. But after being beaten by Atlético Madrid the last two editions, this time it was Barcelona’s turn to put the hurt on City, winning 3-0 in their quarterfinal fist leg at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, Italy on Wednesday afternoon.

Re-Examining The West Ham Relegation Controversy Of 2006-07

On the surface, the rivalry between Sheffield United and West Ham United seems to be one of the most obvious derbies in English football; Sheffield is nicknamed the Blades because of the city's connection to the steel industry, while West Ham is known as the Hammers for its roots in the local ironworks of London.

But the rivalry between these two clubs extends beyond the metalworks and is centered around another important resource: money.

Even If You Hate Arsenal, We’re All Rooting For Gunners To Beat The Shit Out Of Slavia Prague

The hero of the Europa League has yet to reveal themselves. The villain, on the other hand, is well-known and must be defeated.

Slavia Prague needs an ass-kicking. The racist Slavia Prague issues are eye-opening and infuriating.

The Czech side defeated Rangers in the Round of 16 and is under investigation after one of the club’s players allegedly racially abused Glen Kamara.

Slavia defender Ondrej Kudela could be seen covering his mouth and saying something to Kamara. A scuffle ensued afterwards and Rangers players have said Kudela used racist language.

The18 Decides Which Premier League Teams Deserve To Be Relegated

Watching March Madness over the weekend has made me realize that the world of sports is incredibly cruel. Talent is often not enough to defeat an opponent, and sometimes outplaying the other team isn't even good enough to earn a victory.

In the Premier League, the teams on the receiving end of this bad luck are usually found in the lower reaches of the league table. Generally speaking, the relegation zone contains three of the worst teams in the league, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are the three clubs that deserve to be relegated.

Champions League Predictions: Is An All-English Final Inevitable?

There are three Premier League teams still competing in the Champions League at the quarterfinal stage: Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. Looking at the matchups, at least two of those three clubs are clear favorites to advance to the semifinals. Liverpool has the most difficult tie against the historical kings of the competition, Real Madrid.

Arsenal Roars Back From Three Goals Down In Pulsating Draw With West Ham

LONDON - Alexandre Lacazette's late header completed a stunning Arsenal comeback as they recovered from a nightmarish start to grab an unlikely 3-3 draw away to West Ham United in a rip-roaring Premier League derby on Sunday.

In the end a point was no more than Arsenal deserved even though they had looked on course for a humiliating drubbing when they conceded three times in the opening 32 minutes.

Christian Pulisic Named Man Of The Match As Chelsea Advances To FA Cup Semis

Chelsea advanced to the semifinals of the FA Cup with a narrow 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. An Oliver Norwood own goal opened the scoring for the Blues, but the Blades came close to equalizing on a number of occasions before Hakim Ziyech’s insurance strike in second half stoppage time put Thomas Tuchel’s side through.

Following a corner kick, it was Ben Chilwell’s hopeful hit back into the area that forced Norwood to turn it beyond Aaron Ramsdale.

Spurs Keeper Joe Hart Awkwardly Apologizes For Posting ‘Job Done’ After Europa League Defeat

LONDON — Former England keeper Joe Hart apologised on Friday after an Instagram post from his account went out saying "job done" after Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League exit to Dinamo Zagreb.

Tottenham crashed to a 3-0 defeat in the Croatian capital to lose their last-16 tie 3-2 on aggregate, a result Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris described as "a disgrace."
