Kellyn Acosta wears unbelievable custom Nike Tiempos during El Tráfico

It was the kind of night you get dressed up for.

A record MLS crowd of 82,110 watched El Tráfico at the Rose Bowl on July 4th, and although the LA Galaxy won the match 2-1, LAFC's Kellyn Acosta won hearts and minds with the greatest custom boots to ever grace a professional pitch.

USMNT boys trying to teach Folarin Balogun golf is hilariously wholesome

The United States men’s national team is gearing up for a second run at the Concacaf Nations League title with the semifinal vs. Mexico on Thursday and the final or third-place match scheduled for Sunday.

A total of 23 players were called up for the tournament and the roster includes big names like Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and newcomer Folarin Balogun.

Amateur club Newtown Pride wins $1 million championship game at TST

The inaugural edition of The Soccer Tournament (TST) ended Sunday with Newtown Pride FC — an amateur club out of Sandy Hook, Connecticut — deservedly claiming the $1 million dollar prize with a 2-0 victory over Sports Leagues Canada FC.

Newtown actually turned out to be the closest thing to a professional team at TST since the actual "big clubs" were only rag-tag collections of potbellied, middle-aged men and social media influences (Borussia Dortmund sucked farts while Wolves, West Ham and Necaxa all fell in the group stage).

Wondolowski nets hat trick, plays keeper at TST after Luis Robles suffers nasty shiner

There are plenty of interesting teams to watch at The Soccer Tournament, but one of the most star-studded is certainly Team Dempsey (although USMNT legend Clint Dempsey only serves as the head coach in flip-flops).

On Thursday, they began play at the 7-on-7 tournament with a starting lineup that had Luis Robles in goal (three USMNT caps), Jermaine Jones in midfield (69 USMNT caps), Eddie Johnson out wide (63 USMNT caps) and Chris Wondolowski up top (35 USMNT caps). Jaime Lozano (34 Mexico caps) was on the bench.

U.S. Women suffer 5-0 defeat in their TST opener against Say Word FC

The Soccer Tournament (TST) kicked off on Thursday and saw the U.S. Women open their tournament with a 5-0 defeat to Say Word FC.

The U.S. Women team coached by Mia Hamm is the only team consisting of just women on the roster and features household names like Heather O’Reilly, Kristine Lilly and more.

After laughing at some poor guy in the gym, Mudryk is quickly served poetic justice

On the one hand, Mykhaylo Mudryk deserves sympathy. The 22-year-old has only played 15 Premier League games (for a completely dysfunctional team) and deserves much more patience (which he'll get because he cost $107 million) despite failing to score a goal for Chelsea.

On the other hand, Mudryk deserves zero sympathy — at least for one day — after committing the cardinal sin of gym-goers everywhere: mocking someone for trying to make themselves better, indiscreetly filming them and posting it online to millions of eye balls.

Checking in on Gareth Bale — he’s hit his first hole-in-one on a golf course

It’s been six months since Gareth Bale smashed in a penalty kick against the United States in Qatar at the World Cup. The Welsh legend hung up his boots and picked up his golf clubs after the tournament and has never looked back.

On Thursday Bale posted a video to Instagram of him getting his first-ever hole-in-one on a golf course. Bale was playing at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in California and was filmed nailing the shot and wheeling away in celebration.

Mexico qualifies for Beach Soccer World Cup with stunning GK strike at the death

With only the two finalists qualifying for the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Dubai, Saturday's two semifinals at the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship in Nassau were do-or-die clashes pitting four-time champion Mexico against host nation the Bahamas while the United States played El Salvador in a rematch of the 2021 final (won by La Selecta).

How to get way too invested in this week's Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship

The 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship has begun in the Bahamas with spots at this year's FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup on the line. There's always plenty of drama (the last three editions have provided three different winners), but even more captivating is the wild variety of bangers we see out on the sand.

Monday was only day one of the competition and things got rowdy.
