Watch the moment Wrexham earn promotion to EFL League 2 after a comeback win

Wrexham’s task on Saturday was as straight-forward as it gets. If the club defeated Boreham Wood at home at the Racecourse Ground, they would become National League champions and earn promotion to the EFL League 2.

The stage was set for a big Wrexham day. Then the Red Dragons conceded 42 seconds into the game.

Arsenal score in 88th and 90th minutes to avoid disastrous defeat to Southampton

LONDON — Arsenal struck two late goals to rescue a point in a pulsating 3-3 home draw with bottom club Southampton but their Premier League title hopes suffered another blow on a night of frazzled nerves in north London on Friday.

The Gunners trailed by two goals inside 15 minutes with Carlos Alcaraz and former Arsenal forward Theo Walcott silencing the Emirates crowd.

Gio Reyna scores 92nd minute go-ahead goal but then Dortmund inexplicably chokes

STUTTGART — Borussia Dortmund conceded a stoppage-time equalizer from Silas Katompa Mvumpa to draw 3-3 at 10-man VfB Stuttgart on Saturday and missed the chance to go joint top of the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Wrexham on the verge of promotion after 5-goal thriller, PK save at 90+7'

It was billed as the biggest game in National League history, and Monday's top-of-the-table clash between Wrexham and Notts County — with both clubs entering on 100 points, having scored 106 goals each and directly battling for the only automatic birth into the EFL — didn't disappoint.

With Wrexham's Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney both in attendance, a five-goal thriller played out at the Racecourse Ground that left the Red Dragons in complete control of their promotion destiny.

Leeds suffer unbelievable collapse in 5-1 defeat to relegation rivals

Leeds United suffered a monumental collapse on Sunday afternoon, leading 1-0 after 45 minutes but ultimately losing 5-1 to Crystal Palace at Elland Road. The stadium was half-empty at the full-time whistle after Leeds' unreal capitulation, and the remaining supporters only stayed to let the players know the extent of their embarrassment.

Freiburg stun Bayern with 95th minute game-winning penalty and advance to DFB-Pokal semis

MUNICH — Freiburg stunned favorites Bayern Munich 2-1 in their German Cup quarterfinal on Tuesday thanks to a second-half stoppage-time penalty from Lucas Hoeler.

In a shock defeat for the Bundesliga leaders, in coach Thomas Tuchel's second game in charge, Hoeler sent keeper Yann Sommer the wrong way to book their spot in the last four.

"I am not really angry. We conceded two goals with two shots. I can't remember another chance from Freiburg," Tuchel said after his team missed out on the first trophy of the season.

Indirect free kick! Brentford vs. Brighton had a little bit of everything

Brighton and Brentford shared the points on Saturday in an exhilarating 3-3 draw that saw the Gulls equalize three separate times. The back-and-forth affair also saw a rare set piece you don’t see too often: an indirect free kick in the penalty area.

In the 11th minute Brentford were awarded the indirect free kick after Brighton’s Pervis Estupiñán poked the ball back to Jason Steele who picked up the ball.

Curiosamente, ambas son jugadoras del Dash, uno de los rivales de la gira.

Frida Maanum scores insane goal in upper-90 to help send Arsenal to Champions League semis

Arsenal defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium Wednesday to win 2-1 on aggregate in the Women’s Champions League quarterfinal.

The Gunners overcame a 1-0 first-leg deficit to reach the UWCL semifinals for the first time since 2013.

An out of this world goal from Norwegian midfielder Frida Maanum in the 19th minute sparked the comeback.

Arsenal put together a quick succession of passes after regaining possession outside of Bayern’s box to set up Maanum. The 23-year-old took the shot first time and placed it into the top corner like an arrow.
